This porcelain beer stein features colored transfers depicting soldiers in uniform, a cityscape identified as Metz, and regimental scenes related to service in the 1st Lothringisches Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 130. The base bears black text with the years 1910-12, corresponding to a period of active service. German tricolor bands encircle the body and base. The pewter lid is decorated with an Iron Cross motif and a detailed finial in the form of a standing soldier in pickelhaube, holding a rifle, which needs to be reglued to the top of the stein. Around the upper rim, German inscriptions are visible, commemorating military service. Condition appears consistent with preserved examples, displaying clear transfer images and intact ceramic and pewter elements. Measures 10" tall and 15"diameter. PM
