Three WWII German WHW (Winterhilfswerk) Ostmark donation badges, each featuring machine-woven silk panels within colored celluloid frames. The set celebrates traditional folk attire of the Austrian Alpine regions. The collection comprises a cream-framed female profile marked "Niederdonau" with its period-correct original paper string suspension loop, a tan-framed male mountaineer marked "Tirol" complete with its horizontal safety pin, and a coral-red-framed female dirndl profile also marked "Tirol". All have original fiberboard backings. The badges are in good vintage condition with no cracks in the celluloid though there is some paint chips. The fabric has some staining and the tan "Tirol" has some thread missing on the lifted leg. These items represent Third Reich home-front fundraising efforts. Measure 1 1/4" x 1" each. OT
