Two WWII German WHW Ostmark Traditional Costumes Donation Badges, representing home-front fundraising efforts of the Third Reich, from 1933-1945. These badges celebrate Austrian Alpine folk attire and include a blue-framed badge featuring a woven silk panel depicting a female figurine marked "Niederdonau," and a red-framed badge with a male alpine hunter figurine marked "Kärnten." Constructed with colored celluloid frames and machine-woven silk panels, both badges retain original fiberboard backings, fold-down tabs, and intact horizontal safety pin assemblies. The silk has some staining and the frames have some wear. Measures 1 1/4" x 2" OT
