Pair of oval-shaped needlework plaques featuring embroidered images of German folk figures in regional dress from the Weimar era (1919-1933). Each plaque is mounted in a painted molded frame, one blue and one green, with "Deutsches Volk" and "Salzburg" molded into the borders. The items are equipped with pinback hardware that displays oxidation and functional wear. The embroidered scenes highlight regional costume and reflect interwar German folk art traditions focused on cultural identity. Visible issues include embroidery loss and staining on the fabric, along with frame wear. These plaques were produced as decorative civilian souvenirs rather than for official insignia purposes. Each one measures 1 1/4" x 1" OT
