Two East German National People's Army (NVA) officer visor caps, each constructed from stone grey wool with white piping along the crown and band to denote the Infantry branch. Both caps are fitted with silver-colored chincords and feature the East German DDR cockade on the front, framed by a silver wreath. The visors are made from black plastic, and the interior is lined in brown synthetic leather and tan cotton fabric, each marked with "NVA 55 1856 Y" on the inner crown. These standard officer service caps were issued to NVA personnel in the post-war period between 1945 and 1950, reflecting Early DDR military uniform regulations. Both show clear insignia and stitching. SW
