Four East German Army (NVA) visor caps with white infantry piping, produced post-1945 and coded for manufacture from 1985 to 1988. Each cap is constructed of stone grey wool with silver chincords and bears the DDR cockade above a wreath on the front. Internal markings indicate sizes 59 (2), 56, and 55, with date codes 1856 T, 1856 N, and 1856 Y present. The interiors are fitted with brown sweatbands, and minor internal and external wear and visor scuffing are visible. These caps served as standard headgear for DDR Army personnel during the late Cold War period, representing the official service dress of East German infantry forces. SW
