This group consists of five East German Ministerium des Innern (MdI) police visor caps, produced for official use by personnel of the Deutsche Volkspolizei during the postwar period. Each cap is constructed from dark blue wool fabric and features red piping along the crown and cap band. The front displays a silver-toned metal and enamel insignia, incorporating traditional Volkspolizei symbols. All caps are equipped with glossy black visors, blue cord chin straps affixed by silvered buttons, and interior leather sweatbands. The manufacturer's markings, model information, and size stamps are visible inside, with sizes ranging approximately from 54 to 60. This set represents standard-issue headgear used throughout the German Democratic Republic era. SW
