Traditional German Tyrolean (Alpine) Hat made from high-quality deep green wool felt. A quintessential piece of Bavarian/Austrian folk tradition (Trachten), this hat is loaded with authentic regional details and vintage hat pins (Hutstecker). Key Features include: Hatband: Multi-strand twisted green cord encircling the crown base, terminating in knotted rosettes, Gamsbart / Feather Spray prominently mounted on the side, features a full spray of coarse animal hair blended with game bird feathers (including distinctive blue-and-black patterned jay/pheasant feather accents) secured in a detailed silver-tone metal mount depicting a reclining chamois/stag among forest foliage.
