This post-WWII West German Bundesmarine enlisted sailor visorless cap features a dark navy wool felt cap band base with an attached white fabric crown cover. Internal inspection reveals a original printed paper manufacturer tag behind the light brown leather sweatband, identifying production by Carl Isken KG, Köln, dated May 1981, size 60, with NATO Stock Number 8405-12-121-3612. The cap lacks front tally ribbons and metal insignia. The large black letter "A" ink stamp stands for "Ausgemustert" (decommissioned / discarded from military service). It has minor internal smudging on the white inner crown fabric, tight seams, clean exterior white fabric, and an intact leather sweatband showing no tears or severe hardening. SW
