Highly collectible antique German bisque head character baby doll, featuring the Bähr & Pröschild mold 582. Produced in Germany in the early twentieth century, this doll has a solid dome bisque head with molded and painted hair, hand-painted facial details, and a sculpted pouty expression. The head is marked 582 on the neck and is attached to the original five-piece fully articulated composition bent-limb baby body, exhibiting typical age-related wear such as surface scuffing and composite patches at the hands and joints. Measures 12 inches extended, 9 inches seated. Dressed in a long, white embroidered gown in good vintage condition, the doll displays past stabilization on hands and body joints, as shown in the images. **SHIPPING NOT RECOMMENDED Shipping is not recommended for this doll due to the extremely delicate sleep eye mechanism.
