A whimsical folk art landscape collage depicting a stylized cottage within a floral landscape. The work is constructed from multiple pieces of printed fabric with varied patterns including florals, polka dots, and foliate motifs, all joined to a mustard-yellow patterned ground using a dark brown machine-sewn zigzag stitch. The composition features a central cottage with a chimney, set amidst rolling hills and cloud-like forms, flanked by a large stylized tree and an oversized flower in the foreground. The work is presented under glass with a pale yellow mount in a simple wood-effect frame featuring a gilt-toned inner edge. Dimensions (measured against a ruler): approx. H 37 cm x W 45 cm. Condition: The fabric elements appear to be in good condition with vibrant colours. The frame shows minor surface scuffs consistent with age and use. The brown paper dust cover on the reverse is heavily torn and shows significant wear.
