A trio of vintage domestic laundry items featuring a tapered circular wash tub and two washboards of varying sizes. The wash tub is constructed from dark-patinated galvanised metal with a rolled rim and a single wire loop handle. The larger of the two washboards, identified by printed black text on the upper wooden panel as a Dubl Handi model produced by the Columbus Washboard Co of Columbus, Ohio, features a metal scrubbing surface with a spiral-textured pattern. The smaller washboard has a standard horizontally corrugated galvanised metal insert set within a wooden frame. Dimensions (measured against a ruler): tub depth approx. 6.5 inches; washboard length approx. 18 inches. Condition: The items are in used vintage condition consistent with age and utilitarian function. The galvanised metal tub shows significant surface oxidation and areas of rust, particularly to the interior and base. The washboards exhibit typical water staining, age-related drying to the wooden frames, and surface corrosion on the metal inserts.
