AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Colorful group of six vintage advertising, food and decorative tins, offering a mix of American and European commercial graphics, nostalgic branding and kitchen display appeal. The largest upright example is a bright red Eight O’Clock Coffee tin standing 7.5" tall and measuring 6" x 6" with curved corners. Bold period graphics advertise BEAN COFFEE ~ GROUND TO ORDER, A RICH, MELLOW BLEND, and TASTE THE DIFFERENCE OF FRESH BEAN COFFEE. The original cover is lacking. The next largest is the rectangular SICILIA ~ Matilde Vicenzi’s Specialties tin, measuring 10" x 7" x 5" deep, with a panoramic Sicilian coastal and archaeological scene framed by a gold-tone lid and borders. A round decorative tin measuring 10" in diameter x 2" deep features a large naturalistic pine cone and evergreen branch design accented by green and striped ribbon elements. Also included is a 1992 Crayola commemorative tin, decorated with the historic-style Crayola Trade Mark logo and a nostalgic Christmas scene showing children drawing beneath a decorated tree. The smaller rectangular Holland CHE-CRI Cheese Crispies tin carries strong mid-century-style Dutch advertising graphics, identifying the product as Product of Holland and manufactured by Roodenrys, Delft, with dairy cattle, windmill imagery and the slogan THE OTHER PART OF YOUR COCKTAIL. Completing the group is a cylindrical Marcella Cigars tin featuring a colorful procession of British military figures in ceremonial uniforms beneath the advertising slogan ALL RANKS SMOKE, giving the piece strong crossover appeal to collectors of tobacco, military and lithographed advertising tins. Together, the six pieces offer an unusually varied grouping of coffee, cigar, food, Crayola, European advertising and decorative tins, with strong graphics suited for display in a vintage kitchen, country store, advertising collection or general Americana setting. CONDITION REPORT > Eight O'Clock Coffee tin lacking the cover, otherwise a well preserved group.
