AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP ~ SEE VINTAGE MEDIA DISCLAIMER BELOW > A mixed vintage blank-media lot comprising 9 audio and 8mm video cassettes, with several examples retaining original factory packaging and others housed in their original individual cases. The group is especially appealing to collectors of vintage recording media, cassette-deck enthusiasts and audiophiles who continue to use high-bias analog tape. The lot includes 1 Maxell XLII 90 High Bias Black Magnetite audio cassette, 2 Memorex HBS II 90 High Position II audio cassettes, 1 Fuji 8mm Video P6-30 Extra Slim Case Double Coating cassette, together with additional Maxell, Sony and 8mm video examples as shown. The Maxell XLII 90 Black Magnetite is a Type II high-bias cassette, a format long favored for improved high-frequency response and lower noise compared with standard ferric tape. Sealed XLII 90 examples remain actively collected and used today, with current offerings commonly around the $10–12 range per tape and multi-packs bringing more. The Memorex HBS II 90 tapes are likewise Type II / High Position cassettes. Period examples date to around 1989–1990, and surviving sealed examples are still marketed specifically to collectors and users of vintage cassette equipment. Also present are additional cassettes visible in the lot, including Sony UCX-S 90, Maxell XLII 90, Maxell XLII C90, Maxell Professional II Chrome Bias 70µs EQ, and an 8mm videocassette, all retained in protective cases as shown. Visually, the group presents as largely unused old-stock media. Only the pieces retaining intact original factory seal wrap should be considered definitively unopened; the balance are housed in cases and appear unused but cannot be guaranteed as such without opening or playback inspection. The mixture of Type II high-bias audio tape, chrome-bias formulations, Sony UCX-S, Maxell XLII and early 8mm video media gives the lot stronger collector and practical interest than a generic assortment of blank tapes, particularly among analog-audio users and collectors of late-20th-century recording technology. VINTAGE MEDIA DISCLAIMER > Condition is reported as observed at the time of listing. Any reference to sealed, unopened or unused applies only to examples retaining intact original factory packaging or to visual appearance where specifically stated. Media has not been played, recorded, tested or otherwise verified for performance, recording quality, tape condition, prior use or compatibility with any particular equipment. Due to age, no representation is made regarding future reliability, playback quality or recording performance. CONDITION REPORT > Several pieces retain original factory seal wrap and are considered unopened. Remaining examples are housed in cases and appear unused ~ Prior recording or use has not been verified.
