AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > A decorative grouping of 3 vintage satin glass vases, including a matched pair of slender blue examples and a larger lavender Jack-in-the-Pulpit style vase. 1 > PAIR OF ARDCO BLUE SATIN GLASS VASES Each stands 8" tall with a 2" diameter base, featuring a tall slender form, softly flared scalloped rim and blue-to-frosted-white gradient finish. One retains the original gold foil label reading ARDCO FINE QUALITY ~ DALLAS ~ MADE IN TAIWAN R.O.C. Online examples confirm ARDCO marketed similarly proportioned 8" frosted satin glass bud vases, including comparable ombré examples retaining ARDCO labeling. 2 > LAVENDER JACK-IN-THE-PULPIT SATIN GLASS VASE Standing 8-1/8" tall, measuring 5" in diameter across the broad upper lip, and tapering to a 3" diameter base. The dramatic flared top folds forward in classic Jack-in-the-Pulpit form, creating a sculptural trumpet-like profile. The lavender satin finish graduates from deeper color toward the lower body to a paler frosted tone at the broad lip. The satin finish and softly graduated color are characteristic of decorative glass marketed during the later 20th century, while Jack-in-the-Pulpit forms remain especially popular for their dramatic Art Nouveau-inspired silhouette. ARDCO was a Dallas-based importer and distributor of decorative wares, with surviving examples found bearing both Made in Japan and Made in Taiwan R.O.C. labels. The Taiwan marking places the blue pair within ARDCO’s later imported production rather than the earlier Japanese-marked wares. Together, the three vases make a particularly attractive display group, combining frosted satin surfaces, graduated blue and lavender color, slender architectural forms and a dramatic central Jack-in-the-Pulpit silhouette. CONDITION REPORT > As discovered, not cleaned or altered. One blue vase retains the original ARDCO gold foil label. Exhibits light surface and storage wear consistent with vintage decorative glass.
