LOCAL PICKUP ONLY ~ NO SHIPPING > A Lampe Berger Paris catalytic fragrance lamp with deep cobalt-blue glazed body, floral decoration and gold-tone burner crown, accompanied by three 500 ml ~ 16.90 fl. oz. bottles of Lampe Berger Neutral home fragrance solution, two substantially full and one about half full. The rounded lamp body is finished in a dark blue glaze with scattered floral decoration and fitted with the original catalytic burner assembly, wick, snuffer cap and pierced gold-tone protective crown. Lampe Berger lamps use a catalytic stone and alcohol-based liquid to neutralize household odors while also allowing fragrance to be dispersed when scented solution is used. The Neutral formula is designed to deodorize without adding fragrance and can also be used between scents to help clean the burner or dilute stronger fragrances. Lampe Berger originated in France in 1898, when Maurice Berger developed the catalytic lamp as a means of purifying air in hospitals. The system later moved into private homes and evolved into a decorative fragrance lamp, with scented formulations added during the early 20th century. Each bottle is labeled LAMPE BERGER PARIS ~ HOME FRAGRANCE FOR LAMPE BERGER ~ NEUTRAL ~ 500 ml ~ 16.90 fl. oz. CONDITION REPORT > As discovered, not cleaned or altered. Lamp retains burner, snuffer cap and decorative crown. Two Neutral bottles are substantially full, with the third about half full.
