Simon Bull (British, b. 1958), “Bright Morning Dew,” 2006, a signed and numbered limited edition giclée in color on canvas. Strikingly like the original! The composition presents a monumental red-orange poppy in full bloom, its broad, undulating petals dramatically highlighted with passages of brilliant yellow and set against a richly saturated ground of burgundy, deep blue, green, and near-black. Bulls bold use of color and enlarged floral imagery transforms the familiar flower into an almost abstract study of color, light, and form, with the dark center providing a strong visual anchor. Signed by Simon Bull and numbered 133/150. The accompanying Park West Gallery Certificate of Authenticity identifies the work as a giclée in color on canvas from the numbered edition of 150. Park West Gallery registration no. 167311.0015. The reverse retains the original Park West identification label. Accompanied by the Park West Gallery Certificate of Authenticity, correspondence, and a December 4, 2012 Park West appraisal stating a retail replacement price of $2,175, including the frame, at that time. Presented in a handsome contemporary gold-tone frame with black inner liner. Art Dimensions: 33 x 33 inches. Frame Dimensions: 40 x 40 inches. Condition: Very good. No issues.
