Amanda Dunbar (American, b. 1982), Courage, from the Young Mysteries Trilogies, serigraph in colors on canvas, released in 2000 after the artist’s 1999 original oil painting. Depicting two elegantly dressed young women in white standing beside a garden railing with the sea beyond, rendered with Dunbar’s distinctive loose, expressive brushwork and luminous palette. Rare find! Only 10 artist's proofs created. Absolutely gorgeous! This example is Artist’s Proof 10/10. Signed Amanda Dunbar lower right and additionally marked 10/10 A.P. lower left. Accompanied by certificates of authenticity and a Dunbar Studios appraisal dated April 3, 2012, which assigned a then-current retail value of $3,000. The documentation records an image size of approximately 25 × 34 inches and identifies Da-Ta Art Studio, California, as printer and New Millennium Publishing as publisher.
