Linda Le Kinff (French, b. 1949) — Cythere Assiegee, 2006 — Embellished Serigraph on Wood Panel. A colorful and intimate work by Linda Le Kinff, depicting an elegantly dressed couple in a circular composition. Le Kinffs characteristic elongated figures are surrounded by overlapping geometric passages of red, blue, gold, violet and turquoise, with hand-applied acrylic embellishment adding texture and dimension to the printed image. Executed in 2006 as a serigraph in color with acrylic painting on wood panel, the work is signed in ink lower left and comes from the numbered edition of 250. Accompanied by the original Park West Gallery Certificate of Authenticity and appraisal documentation. The 2011 Park West appraisal assigned a retail replacement value of $2,975. This appears to be the same edition and presentation as another Cythere Assiegee documented at auction with the same 23.5-inch square overall dimensions and approximately 11-inch image. Artwork Dimensions: 11.5 × 11.5 inches. Framed Dimensions: 23.5 × 23.5 inches. Condition: Very good overall condition. The image retains strong, vibrant color with the hand-applied embellishments appearing well preserved. Presented in a substantial gilt frame with black matting. Minor surface and frame wear consistent with age and display may be present. This auction house considers the photos to be the condition report.
