Amanda Dunbar — The Water Garden — Limited Edition Serigraph on Canvas. A vibrant work by Amanda Dunbar (American, b. 1982) titled The Water Garden. The composition depicts a lush tropical water garden rendered with energetic, heavily textured-looking strokes in deep greens, blues, turquoise, lavender and brilliant chartreuse. The dark reflective water and dense vegetation create considerable depth, while the small architectural elements tucked into the landscape give the scene an almost secluded, dreamlike quality. Very difficult to tell this in not the original! Serigraph in color on canvas, signed Amanda Dunbar lower right and numbered 46/49 lower left. The accompanying Certificate of Authenticity identifies the work as number 46 from the signed and numbered edition of 49, with additional artist's proofs and hand-embellished examples. The certificate records the original oil painting as having been created in 2000. Accompanied by certificates and a 2012 Dunbar Studios appraisal stating a retail value of $2,500. Published retail pricing for Dunbar's limited-edition canvas serigraphs are $1,495 and up. Artwork Dimensions: 35 × 26 inches. Framed Dimensions: 40 × 31 inches. Condition: Very good overall condition. The image retains strong, vivid coloration and presents attractively, with no major visible condition issues noted from the photographs. Frame shows only minor wear consistent with normal handling and display. This auction house considers the photos to be the condition report. Beautiful artwork for any room. Great investment!!
