After Salvador Dalí, The Hallucinogenic Toreador, color reproduction on paper after Dalís celebrated 1970 Surrealist composition. The complex imagery incorporates repeated figures of the Venus de Milo, the bullring, flies, figures, and other optical transformations characteristic of Dalí’s mature work. Presented under glass with a wide cream mat in an ornate gilt frame. A separate inset beneath the image bears a facsimile Dalí signature and the title Hallucinogenic Toreador. The signature is isolated on a separate title/signature panel rather than signed directly on the printed image or its original sheet. Image: 17.5 x 23 inches. Overall Framed: 42 × 35 inches.
