Genuine Stickley Mission Cherry Lamp Table, Model 91-747, 2000. Dimensions: 26.75?H x 28?W x 28?D. A handsome Stickley Mission-style lamp table, model 91-747, displaying the clean architectural lines and traditional craftsmanship associated with one of America’s most respected furniture makers. Crafted in solid cherry with a warm finish that highlights the natural grain, the table features a substantial square top raised on straight legs joined by distinctive vertical slat sides, a hallmark of Arts & Crafts and Mission design. A broad open lower shelf adds useful display or storage space while maintaining the table’s strong geometric profile. Particularly attractive details include the subtly shaped supports beneath the top and decorative rectangular insets on the legs. The restrained ornamentation, exposed construction, and emphasis on quality wood reflect the Arts & Crafts philosophy of honest materials and purposeful design. The underside retains the Stickley branded mark, Stickley Handcraft Craftsman, Manlius, N.Y. USA label, model number 91-747, and a production date stamp of March 30, 2000. A well-made and versatile piece that works beautifully as a lamp table, side table, or occasional table and offers the enduring quality and recognizable design sought by Stickley collectors. Provenance: From the estate of Moira McCracken, an international equine sales executive based in Georgia and lifelong equestrian with a passion for animals. At her passing, she owned four horses and six dogs. She was the widow of John McCracken, who established IBM in Edinburgh, Scotland.
