RCBS 308 Winchester 3 Die Set and Primer Tool

A 308 Winchester die group in an RCBS green box marked FL DIE SET 308 WIN, part number 15501, Group A, shell holder number 3, with a handwritten price of $36.50. Three dies are present. Two are RCBS and are stamped RCBS 308 WIN, the full length sizer with its decapping rod and expander ball and the bullet seater. The third is a 308 die with a hex lock ring stamped 308 W. A sealed J Dewey Baby Crocogator primer pocket cleaner, model CR, is included. The 308 Winchester is the most loaded short action round in America, so a working die set earns its bench space. The primer pocket tool scrapes carbon out of both large and small pockets so fresh primers seat to a uniform depth. Three dies give a loader the option of sizing, expanding or crimping as a separate step instead of doing everything in two strokes. Condition is good to very good. The steel is bright with light staining on the knurling and the threads run clean. The green box is worn and soiled and the label is readable.
