Sierra 30-30 125 Gr Flat Nose HP 2 Boxes

Two Sierra boxes of 30-30 caliber rifle bullets, 308 diameter, 125 grain flat nose hollow point, Pro Hunter, item number 2020, marked 100 rifle bullets on the label. Both boxes have been opened and are partly used. Each one holds roughly two dozen bullets laid in the tray. The flat nose profile is not a style choice. It is a safety requirement for the tube magazines in Winchester Model 94 and Marlin 336 lever actions, where a pointed bullet resting against the primer of the round ahead of it can set that primer off under recoil. Sierra builds the Pro Hunter with a tapered jacket so the 125 grain bullet opens fast at the modest velocity a 30-30 delivers, which makes it a good choice for deer at woods range and for handloaders working up lighter, faster loads. Condition is good. Both green boxes are opened with worn corners, soiled lids and readable labels, and the bullets are bright with no corrosion.
