RCBS 22-250 Remington 2 Die Full Length Set

An RCBS full length die set for 22-250 Remington, part number 10601, Group A, in the green RCBS box. The set holds the full length sizing die with its decapping rod and expander ball and the bullet seating die, which is stamped SEAT on the body. Also in the box is an opened RCBS packet number 09609 of large decapping pins with several pins still inside. The 22-250 is the benchmark varmint round in this part of the country, a 250 Savage case necked to 22 caliber that drives a 55 grain bullet well past 3600 feet per second, and that speed demands brass that is sized to chamber dimensions every time. Full length sizing does exactly that. The expander ball sets neck tension and the seating die sets bullet depth with an adjustable plug. Condition is good. The die bodies are bright with light staining on the knurling and the lock rings and the threads are clean with no pitting. The green box is aged and soiled with a stained end label and soft corners.
