An RCBS full length die set for 243 Winchester, part number 11401, Group A, calling for shell holder number 3, in the green Omark era box with the reloading data card. The set holds the full length sizing die with its decapping rod and expander ball and the bullet seating die, both stamped RCBS. Several loose steel parts with surface rust and traces of yellow paint and a small brass disc are also in the box tray. The 243 Winchester is the classic starter deer rifle round and a fine varmint cartridge, and dies for it are always wanted. The sizer squeezes the fired case back to chamber size, drives out the primer and sets neck tension as the expander ball is drawn back through, and the seater sets bullet depth. Condition of the dies is good with light staining and small spots on the bodies and clean threads. The box is worn and soiled and the loose hardware in the tray is rusty. Estimated Value: $25 to $40 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
