One Lee Precision Factory Crimp Die for 6mm Remington, part number 90832, in the original red box with the factory instruction sheet. The collet crimp design uses four hardened fingers that close on the case mouth from the outside, so the crimp is uniform even if cases are not all trimmed to exactly the same length. That is the reason many handloaders add one to a rifle die set instead of relying on the roll crimp built into a seating die. On the 6mm Remington, a fine deer and varmint round built on the 257 Roberts case, a firm crimp keeps bullets seated under recoil and helps powder light off the same way every shot, which tightens groups and evens out velocity. The die runs in any standard seven eighths by fourteen press. Condition is excellent. The steel is bright with clean threads and no rust, the collet works freely, and the red box and instruction sheet are intact with light shelf wear. Estimated Value: $15 to $25 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
