Lee 300 Winchester Magnum 3 Die Set 90539 Crimp

A Lee reloading die set for the 300 Winchester Magnum, item 90539, in the red Lee storage box with an old shop price sticker of $21.00 on the lid. The set is three dies, being the full length sizing and decapping die, the bullet seating die and the Lee Factory Crimp Die, plus a yellow plastic accessory and the printed Lee instruction sheet. The die bodies are stamped for 300 magnum. The 300 Winchester Magnum is the working man's long range magnum, throwing 150 to 220 grain .308 bullets hard enough for elk at distance, and it is heavily handloaded because factory magnum ammunition is expensive. The Factory Crimp Die is a real advantage here. Heavy recoil in a magazine rifle will push bullets back into the case, and a square collet crimp stops that. Dies are clean with light surface oil and normal handling marks, threads and lock rings are intact and no rust or galling is visible in the photos. Condition is very good.
