RCBS 380 Auto 3 Die Carbide Taper Crimp Set

An RCBS three die carbide taper crimp set for the 380 Auto, part number 20415, group B, in the gray RCBS storage box. The end label calls for shell holder number 10. The set is three dies, being the carbide sizing and decapping die, the expander die and the taper crimp seating die. The die bodies are stamped 380 AUTO CARB and 380 AUTO TC. Two things make this a good set. The carbide ring sizes the straight wall 380 case with no case lube at all, which means no lubing step and no solvent cleanup on high volume pistol brass. The taper crimp is the correct crimp for a cartridge that headspaces on the case mouth. It squeezes the flare back out without rolling the mouth over, so the round still headspaces on the mouth and feeds cleanly through the pistol. Dies are clean with light surface oil and normal handling marks, threads and lock rings are intact and no rust or galling is visible in the photos. Condition is very good.
