Lee 338 Winchester Magnum 3 Die Set 90546 Crimp

A Lee reloading die set for the 338 Winchester Magnum, item 90546, in the red Lee storage box with a shop inventory sticker on the lid and the printed Lee instruction sheet. The set is three dies, being the full length sizing and decapping die, the bullet seating die and the Lee Factory Crimp Die. The die bodies are stamped LEE 338 WIN. The 338 Winchester Magnum is the North American big game magnum, a belted case throwing 200 to 250 grain .338 bullets with the weight to drive through the shoulders of elk, moose and big bear. It kicks hard, and that is the argument for the Factory Crimp Die in this set, because recoil will drive bullets back into the case in a loaded magazine. A square collet crimp holds them in place and keeps velocity even. Dies are clean with light surface oil and normal handling marks, threads and lock rings are intact and no rust or galling is visible in the photos. Condition is very good.
