VTG Necklaces

An assortment of eight vintage necklaces of various styles and materials. The collection includes a boxed single-strand graduated faceted translucent deep-red bead necklace; the accompanying rectangular jeweler box is finished in a textured dark material with a gold-tone Greek key border and a cream-colored lining. The lot features two faceted light brown wooden bead necklaces, including a double-strand opera-length example and a shorter single-strand version with a hook-and-eye clasp. Additional items include a single-strand cowrie-style shell necklace, a triple-strand peach-colored faux pearl necklace with hand-knotted uniform beads, a double-strand light blue opaque bead necklace, a single-strand bright red faceted bead necklace with a spring-ring clasp, and a double-strand pale yellow baroque faux pearl necklace. Beads and pearls are hand-knotted between each element and secured with base metal clasps. Approximate folded lengths measured against a ruler: Double-strand wooden necklace: 39.5 cm Short wooden necklace: 28 cm Shell necklace: 38.5 cm Triple-strand peach faux pearl necklace: 36 cm Double-strand blue bead necklace: 30.5 cm Single-strand red faceted necklace: 33.5 cm Double-strand yellow baroque faux pearl necklace: 22.5 cm. Condition: The necklaces are in overall good vintage condition with expected light surface wear and minor loss to the faux pearl coatings. Minor oxidation and tarnishing are present on the metal clasps and links. The vintage presentation box exhibits shelf wear to the exterior and light staining to the interior fabric lining.
