This antique souvenir bar brooch is crafted from 900 silver and features a desert caravan motif. The design depicts a procession of two dromedary camels in profile, each adorned with a detailed saddle blanket, followed by a single palm tree. The figures are set upon a flat horizontal base bar. The reverse of the bar is stamped with the fineness mark 900 and the word PALESTINE. The piece is fitted with a simple horizontal pin and a C-clasp mechanism. A hallmark reference suggests a United Kingdom origin (recheck). Length approx. 45 mm (measured against a ruler) Weight: 2.71 g (measured on a scale). Condition: The brooch exhibits heavy oxidation and a dark patina throughout the silver surface. The structural details of the camels and palm tree remain well-defined and sharp. The pin mechanism is intact and functional.
