This lot features a collection of five miscellaneous thimbles in various styles and materials. One thimble is made of white porcelain featuring a black transfer-printed image of a horse and buggy labeled Amish Country with a gilded base rim and dimpled top. A second white porcelain thimble depicts a colorful romantic scene of a couple in eighteenth-century style attire with a gilded base rim and a partially legible Made In mark inside the base. A gold-tone metal thimble features an applied shield with enameled graphics of a slot machine, roulette wheel, and dice labeled Las Vegas Nev. and is housed in its original clear plastic presentation case with a green foam insert. A white bone china thimble displays the Royal Banner of Scotland with a red lion rampant on a yellow shield flanked by flowering thistles and is marked Fine Bone China by Exquisite inside the base. The final thimble is a mixed-media piece with a metal body inlaid with crushed turquoise stone chips and rectangular panels of mother-of-pearl, topped with a stamped grid-patterned metal cap. Height approx. 2.5 cm (note: measured from inches-only scale). Condition: The collection is in good vintage condition showing light wear consistent with age and display. There is some minor rubbing to the gilded base rims on the porcelain examples and light surface tarnish on the metal components. No visible chips, cracks, or repairs are present on the porcelain or china pieces.
