A vintage mechanical travel alarm clock by Westclox. The timepiece is housed in a square folding travel case with rounded corners, featuring a burgundy textured leatherette exterior and a gold-tone metal frame. The square white dial presents black Arabic numerals at the hour positions, each paired with a circular track of luminous dot markers. It is fitted with gold-tone hour and minute hands with luminous inserts, and a slender gold-tone alarm indicator hand. A rectangular aperture at the 3 o'clock position displays the day of the week and the date. The dial is marked WESTCLOX at the center and HONG KONG at the bottom edge. The reverse of the clock includes a fold-down winding key, a knurled knob for setting the alarm, and a central knob for setting the time. A regulator lever is set into an arched slot marked F and S. The back plate is stamped SET ALARM, WIND, and HONG KONG. Dimensions: W 7.3 cm x D 7.3 cm (measured against a ruler). Condition: The clock shows signs of wear consistent with age and use. There are minor scuffs and marks on the burgundy exterior of the case. The gold-tone metal components on the interior hinge and the back of the movement exhibit visible tarnishing and finish loss. The mechanical movement and alarm function are untested.
