Large oil on canvas landscape depicting a lush flowering garden overlooking a broad expanse of blue water and a distant rocky shoreline. The composition is anchored by dense foreground plantings of white, yellow, lavender, pink, and burgundy flowers, with a small group of cottages and a pale picket fence nestled among mature trees to the left. A winding path leads through the open green lawn toward the water, creating depth and a tranquil coastal atmosphere. Executed in a loose, impressionistic manner with visible brushwork and areas of textured paint throughout the foliage and floral passages. Artist unknown. Presented in a substantial molded brown-finished frame with a crackled decorative surface. The painting appears generally well preserved; the frame shows scuffs, scratches, surface wear, and a few nicks consistent with age and handling. Sight measures 39.5" x 25.5". Frame measures 51" x 41".
