Oval Avon collector tin titled The Early Years, filled with a brown fabric sash and a large assortment of Avon Representative pins, buttons and badges. The lid is printed with the California Perfume Company building and the Avon script logo; one side shows a period photograph of a Representative with the CPC Eureka trademark crest, and the back panel prints the company history of founder David H. McConnell, the 1886 founding of the California Perfume Company, Mrs. Persis F. Albee as first Depot Agent, and the 1939 renaming to Avon Products, Inc. The text refers to 114 years, dating the tin to about 2000. Pins present include Miles of Smiles BeyondColor Lipstick, Ask Me About Hot Deals, I Sell America's Favorite Skin-So-Soft, Get Skin-So-Soft Get Off the Rest, Recession Busters, Anew Day Force, Ask Me About the Miracle Anew, Avon Select, Just Another Avon Lady, Avon Style, SlimWell, Nutralush Plumping Lipstick SPF 12, a Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer pin, a blue 1990 Customer Service Honors ribbon, a 3-Day walk pin, President's Club and Beauty Advisor pins, gold-tone rose and star pins, a pearl and rhinestone circle brooch, a small Mrs. Albee cameo pin, and a brass Avon name badge with hanging achievement bars marked 500 and 1500. Condition is good: the buttons are bright with clean printing, the sash shows soiling and wear, and the tin has light scratching. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
