Avon 2000 Nikko Honor Society Teacup Set

Avon Honor Society 2000 Mrs. P.F.E. Albee commemorative teacup and saucer in fine bone china by Nikko of Japan, complete in the original box. The scalloped saucer and footed cup are decorated in soft peach with lavender ribbon swags, coral rose garlands and a medallion portrait of Mrs. Albee; the welcome card states the pieces are gilded in 22K gold and were designed to complement the 2000 Mrs. Albee Figurine. The saucer back reads Created exclusively for the Avon Honor Society by Nikko - Japan, copyright Avon 2000, and the box is marked Made in Japan for Avon Products, Inc. Distributor, FSC number 60314-1. Included are the round mahogany-finish wooden display base, the Congratulations Honor Society Member card and the original box with bubble wrap. The ruler shows the saucer at about 6 inches across. Condition is excellent and unused, the cup still sealed in factory wrap, with light edge wear and a faint smudge on one box panel. Nikko is a long-established Japanese china maker, and the bone china body sets this year apart from the porcelain used for other awards in the series. Sold as-is.
