Avon 15th and 20th Anniversary Plates Set of 2

Pair of Avon Representative anniversary award plates in fine porcelain trimmed with 22k gold, offered with their original boxes. (1) The 15th Avon Anniversary plate, titled The Avon Rose, centered with a rose spray inside a gold band. (2) The 20th Avon Anniversary plate, titled The First Avon Representative, showing Mrs. P.F.E. Albee calling at a customer's door. Both backs state that the award was created exclusively for Avon in honor of the recipient's anniversary as an Avon Representative, with the caution that the plate is for decorative purposes only and not to be used for serving food. Each measures approximately 9 inches across. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or crazing visible and bright gold rims; the green Congratulations boxes show light shelf wear and the fitted inserts are intact. These plates were awarded for reaching the milestone and never sold to the public, so surviving examples come out of Representative estates. Sold as-is.
