This vintage S-gauge electric train set by The A. C. Gilbert Company includes a die-cast Reading Lines 307 steam locomotive with tender, three plastic freight cars, and a No. 1 1/2 transformer. The collection features an orange refrigerator car, red gondola, and caboose marked 938. The set is complete with curved track, literature, and the original corrugated cardboard box bearing the blue and yellow American Flyer label.The set shows expected vintage wear, including dust and light oxidation. The original box has significant tearing and staining to the top flaps (photos 1 & 2). Components appear structurally sound. This item has not been tested.
