A pair of prewar Standard gauge toy train passenger cars manufactured by The Lionel Corporation. These olive green tinplate models include a No. 337 Pullman car and a No. 338 Observation car with maroon accents and brass-toned trim. Both units feature six-wheel trucks and printed side plates reading PULLMAN and OBSERVATION. The Observation car includes a rear platform with a sign reading LIONEL LIMITED. Internal lighting components are present. These cars exhibit expected play wear for their age, including paint loss and surface scratches (photo 1). The brass-toned railing and journal boxes show minor tarnishing (photo 6). Surface rust is visible on the axles (photo 8). This item has not be tested.
