An assortment of O-gauge model trains manufactured by the Lionel Corporation. This set includes a die-cast No. 239 steam locomotive with a 2-4-2 wheel arrangement and three lithographed tinplate freight cars comprising a Baby Ruth boxcar,a Shell tank car, and a caboose. Two additional die-cast units include a Sunoco tank car and a Pennsylvania caboose. Three original orange and blue cardboard boxes are included. Items exhibit a characteristic patina with expected paint wear, surface oxidation, and oxidation on wheels and chassis typical for age. The locomotive pilot and trailing trucks are detached. Boxes show shelf wear with some losses. This item has not been tested.
