Two Southern folk art face jugs. The left jug by Sid Luck of North Carolina features a brown speckled glaze, prominent white and dark bug-eyes, a hand-modeled mustache, small ears, and a wide mouth with simple clay teeth. A traditional corn cob stopper adds to its rustic character. The right jug by Joe Reinhardt of Vale, North Carolina has a glossy dark brown Catawba Valley glaze, prominent swirling eyes, flat loop-like ears, and a wide open smile filled with white porcelain or clay teeth.
