1996-W Roosevelt Dime 50th Anniversary Set

One uncirculated 1996 Roosevelt dime, sealed in its original mint cello and heat sealed to a printed folder headed 50th Anniversary of the Roosevelt Dime. No wear, satiny frost, full detail in the hair and torch flame. Warm lighting gives it a gold cast in the photos, so judge color in hand. A few tiny dark specks sit near the date and below the ear, and the cello is intact and unopened. The Certificate of Authenticity is present in the photographs, signed by the Mint Director and naming the mint as West Point. The folder is present; there is no outer shipping box in these images. Glare washes out the mint mark position, so the W cannot be read on the coin itself and the attribution rests on the certificate. Why collectors chase it: 1996 was the fiftieth year of the design, and West Point struck a W dime to mark it. It is the only W Roosevelt dime ever issued, it never circulated, and it was sold only inside the 1996 uncirculated mint set. Copper nickel clad, not silver. Estimated Value: $14 to $22. Sold as-is.
