Three Eisenhower dollars, copper-nickel clad, with no silver content. The 40 percent silver Ikes carry an S and were sold only in the blue and brown packages, and none of these do. The photographs show a 1971 with no mint mark, a 1971-D, and a 1974 with no mint mark, each empty spot sharp and in focus. All three appear to grade uncirculated or close to it, with full jaw, cheek and hairline detail and no high point wear. The 1974 has a warm golden-grey cast, scattered contact ticks and a few dark specks in the left field. The 1971 with no mint mark has a dark line or scratch along the back of the neck, a nick on the jaw and grey haze in the field. The 1971-D is the brightest of the three with light grey field toning. Reverses show full eagle feather and moon crater detail, and one reverse has a diagonal scuff at the right. Worth knowing: this was the first US dollar coin struck since the Peace dollar ended in 1935, and the reverse honors Apollo 11. Estimated Value: $5 to $8. Sold as-is.
