Three Kennedy half dollars dated 1994, copper-nickel clad, with no silver content. The consignor listed these as 1994-P, but the photographs show two coins with a clear P below the neck truncation and a third with an unmistakable D, an upright stem with a full rounded bowl. So the lot is two 1994-P and one 1994-D, and the count is three. All three are brilliant with full hair strand detail, a sharp jaw and neck line, and strong luster, and they appear to grade uncirculated. One coin carries a light golden-tan haze over the lower obverse with a few scattered dark specks, and all three show fine bag mark hairlines in the fields. Reverses were photographed only as a group and are bright with full eagle detail. No rim damage, no corrosion. Something to know: from 1988 through 2001 the Mint sold half dollars only in mint and proof sets, not through banks, so a 1994 half in this condition came out of a set rather than out of circulation.
