An Art Deco style hairbrush featuring a sterling silver casing and handle. The reverse and handle are decorated with engine-turned linear patterns, with a central vacant rectangular cartouche to the back. The handle neck is stamped STERLING, likely of USA origin (recheck). The brush head comprises a cream-coloured bed with multi-tufted bristles. Length: approx. 26.7 cm Width: approx. 7.6 cm Weight (gross): 142 g. Condition: The silver surfaces exhibit heavy tarnish and oxidation throughout. There are visible surface scratches and minor indentations consistent with age and previous use. The bristles show signs of light wear but remain overall intact.
