A collection of three vintage Scottish souvenir kitchen linens. The first is a cotton waffle-weave glasscloth by Finlay's, featuring a printed design of Culzean Castle and its surrounding gardens. The print is signed Pat Albeck to the lower right corner and the reverse retains a sewn manufacturer's label stating Finlay's Absorbent Glasscloth (Fluffproof) Made in Scotland. The second item is a printed tea towel decorated with various vignettes of Scottish landmarks, including the Tay Road Bridge, Perth, Broughty Ferry, and St Andrews Castle. The central panel is framed by a red and green tartan border with thistle motifs and includes a printed quote attributed to Robert Burns. The third item is a woven red and white damask-style cloth, possibly a runner, featuring a decorative frieze of horse-drawn carriages and figures with a text panel reading In an instant all was dark. The ends are finished with a knotted cream-coloured fringe. Condition: The items are in good vintage condition showing light overall yellowing and minor storage marks consistent with age. The fabric remains sound and the printed and woven designs are clear.
