A set of six steak knives manufactured by Lewis Rose and Co Ltd of Sheffield, England. Each knife is constructed with a natural stag antler handle and a stainless steel blade featuring a serrated tip. The handles exhibit various organic textures and natural tonal variations. The blades are etched with the maker's mark Lewis Rose and Co Ltd SHEFFIELD - ENGLAND and STAINLESS ENGLISH STEAK KNIFE. The set is presented in its original mid-century illustrated cardboard box, which features a graphic of a stag's head and the text SHEFFIELD STEAK KNIVES WITH Natural STAG HANDLES. Five of the knives retain their original blue-printed translucent paper protective sleeves, marked A FULLY GUARANTEED PRODUCT MADE IN SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND. Dimensions (measured from tape measure, inches shown): knife length approx. 17.5 cm; box width approx. 17.5 cm. Condition: The set appears to be in good vintage condition. The stainless steel blades show minimal evidence of use. The natural stag antler handles are secure and exhibit an aged patina consistent with the material. Five original paper sleeves are present. The original presentation box shows age-related wear, including scuffing to the edges and light surface staining.
