A vintage electric alarm clock produced by Sunbeam Corporation Canada, Ltd., catalog number 480-461C. The unit is housed in a rectangular cream-coloured plastic case with woodgrain-effect panels on the front and a translucent snooze bar on the top edge. The rectangular black dial face features a central gold-tone circular index with tan Arabic numerals. The clock is fitted with black hour and minute hands and a gold-tone sweep second hand tipped with a red dot. The front panel includes two knurled cream plastic control knobs labelled Light Control and Alarm Volume. The reverse features a white knob for setting the alarm. The base bears original labels identifying the maker, the model number 480-461C, and a patent date of 1966. The clock is equipped with a white power cord and a standard North American two-prong plug. Dimensions: W approx. 7 5/8 inches x H approx. 4 1/2 inches (measured against a ruler showing inches only). Condition: The item shows surface dust and minor scuffing to the plastic casing. The electrics and movement are untested.
