One antique clear glass bottle of squat cylindrical form with rounded shoulders and a long tapering neck. The vessel is constructed from mould-blown flint glass with visible vertical seams and a smooth, moulded base. It retains a proprietary metal stopper mechanism. The top of the metal closure is stamped with the markings PATD FEB 22-1898 and the number 86. The base features embossed circular lettering reading APPLIED FOR PATENT and DEC 31 1895. Height approx. 24.8 cm Base diameter approx. 14 cm. Condition: The item is in fair to good antique condition. Significant internal residue and heavy staining are visible throughout the glass. The metal stopper shows a natural aged patina and tarnish. The glass is free of visible chips or cracks.
